Baillie Gifford's Morrison set to retire after 28 years

Baillie Gifford's Elaine Morrison, partner and former manager of the £1.1bn Managed fund, is to retire from financial services after 28 years with the firm.

Morrison (pictured) ran the Developed Asia Pacific fund from 2008 to 2014 and the Managed fund from 2012 to 2014. She was also partner and held roles in the clients department. The group has announced she will retire from financial services on 30 April 2017, as it also appoints three other employees as partners, effective 1 May.
