Investor sentiment has reached its highest level since April 2016, the latest Lloyds Bank Investor Sentiment index has revealed.
The monthly Lloyds Bank Private Banking Investor Sentiment index measures net investor sentiment towards an asset class, showing the difference between those with a positive and a negative outlook for the next six months. The overall index climbed to 6.10% this month, more than double the 2.98% this time last year, pointing to growing investor confidence despite the political uncertainty facing markets.
