Waverton poaches Brompton manager for fund selection role

Waverton Investment Management has hired Luke Hyde-Smith from Brompton Asset Management as a portfolio manager and head of third party fund selection.

Prior to Waverton, Hyde-Smith (pictured) has been a fund manager at Brompton Asset Management since 2009, where he was responsible for running a range of multi-asset strategies for private clients. He was also involved in the investment selection process for Brompton's wealth management team, focusing on researching investment opportunities, formulating asset class views and constructing portfolios.
