Update: Brooks Macdonald opens Wales office headed up by ex-Brewin Dolphin man

Brooks Macdonald has opened its first office in Wales, having hired ex-Brewin Dolphin divisional director Andrew Lewis to lead the team.

The office, which is the firm's 13th across the UK, will be located in Cardiff in a move to expand its geographical footprint in a region where the brand is not widely known. The firm previously announced its plans to open a Wales offfice back in March. Lewis (pictured) spent 13 years at Brewin Dolphin in a variety of roles including divisional director of the firm's Cardiff office while also working as an investment manager.
