CFA Institute: Asset management industry's success or failure hangs in the balance

Report claims industry at 'inflection point'

A report by the CFA Institute has claimed the asset management industry is at an "inflection point", warning company heads who fail to transform their business models may jeopardise the future of their firms.

The report, Future State of the Investment Profession, encouraged leaders of the industry to develop new skills to fit the changing landscape of the investment industry, while employing stronger standards to restore trust in the industry.
