Lombard Odier appoints head of European third-party distribution

Lombard Odier Investment Managers has appointed Martin Thommen to the newly-created role of head of third-party distribution for Europe, starting on 1 June 2017.

Thommen joins from UBS Asset Management where he spent 30 years at the firm in a variety of roles including head of wealth management and personal banking distribution Switzerland and third party distribution. Based in Zurich, Thommen will report to Carolina Minio-Paluello, global head of sales and solutions at Lombard Odier. The appointment comes five months after the firm hired Amundi's UK head of distribution Jerry Devlin as head of UK third-party distribution.
