Candriam Investors Group has launched a long/short equity fund investing in the digital sectors, aiming to capture innovative and disruptive companies which are benefitting from the technological evolution of the economy.
The portoflio will be managed by César Zeitouni and is made up of a maximum of 50 stocks across the equity universe. By adopting a long/short strategy, the fund can short companies which rely on legacy technology and have negative profit momentum. Instead, it will seek to allocate to companies benefitting from the digital evolution of the economy by tapping into the growth potential of innovative companies.
