Invesco PowerShares unveils S&P 500 multi-factor ETF

Employing quality, value and momentum factors

Invesco PowerShares has launched a multi-factor US equity ETF, the PowerShares S&P 500 QVM, which will seek to offer exposure to quality, value and momentum factors.

The ETF will target risk-adjusted returns by selecting the top 100 companies from the S&P 500 index which are assigned scores based on the three factors: value, quality and momentum. Seeking to replicate the S&P 500 Quality, Value & Momentum Multi-factor index, the ETF will attempt to provide a solution to getting value out of the US stockmarket and timing investments in single factors.
