Joanne Warner, head of global resources at First State Investments, will retire from fund management in August after 20 years at the firm.

Warner (pictured) will be succeeded by Todd Warren, effective 1 July, who is currently global resources portfolio manager. Based in Sydney, he will also take the lead role in managing the Australian-domiciled CFS Global Resoures fund.  First State builds five-strong high yield team Tal Lomnitzer, portfolio manager at First State, will become deputy head of global resources at the firm, having been deputy portfolio manager to Warner since 2011.
