Ex-Invesco Perpetual product development head launches boutique consultancy

Andrew Thomas Johnston, former head of product development at Legal & General Investments and Invesco Perpetual, has launched Scythian Asset Management, a consultancy boutique specialising in mutual fund product strategy.

The firm will assist asset managers in analysing existing capabilities and new fund launches, managing fund range consolidation and restructuring, as well as with their product development effors.  Johnston has experience in launching offshore fund ranges in Luxembourg and Ireland which includes the selection of service providers, conducting due diligence and managing the launch itself.
