Westwood Holdings Group, the US-based convertibles specialist, has been appointed by Aviva Investors to be the discretionary sub-investment manager of the Aviva Investors Global Convertibles fund.
Back in October 2016, Westwood was appointed to sub-advise the Luxembourg-domiciled fund but has now been made sole sub-manager with immediate effect. This means Westwood is now the sole sub-manager of both Aviva Investors' convertible offerings, the Global Convertibles fund and the Global Convertibles Absolute Return vehicle. The $692m fund will be sub-managed by Westwood's Global Convertibles portfolio management team, led by David Clott and Shawn Mato.
