Guinness AM promotes Hammonds to co-manage Asia Equity Income fund

Guinness Asset Management has promoted Mark Hammonds to co-manage the firm's Asia Equity Income fund.

Hammonds, who was appointed in May, will work alongside Edmund Harriss, who has been manager since the fund's launch in December 2013. Hammonds joined Guinness AM in September 2012 as a research analyst. Prior to that, he held a number of roles at Ernst & Young, according his LinkedIn profile. Managers: 'The global outlook is improving, with recent economic data in Asia surprising positively' UCITS compliant, the $57.7m fund is Ireland-domiciled and has an ongoing charges figure (OCF) of 1.24%.
