Pictet AM appoints ex-Schroders distribution head Tosato to board

Pictet Asset Management has appointed Massimo Tosato, formerly global head of distribution at Schroders, to its board as a non-executive director, effective from 1 July.

Tosato spent 21 years at Schroders, most recently as CEO of the investment management arm and global distribution head of the firm, as well as executive vice chairman. He retired from the firm in May 2016 amid a raft of director changes, with John Troiano taking over the role of global distribution head and Richard Mountford becoming global head of product. Prior to Schroders, he was also on the board at Nutmeg and Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, and has also served as vice president of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA).
