Mattioli Woods reports 17% revenue rise following multiple acquisitions

Mattioli Woods' acquisitions of MC Trustees and Amati have contributed to strong revenue growth, according to final results for the year to end of May 2017.

The firm reported it saw revenue increase 17.4% to £50.5m while it posted net organic revenue growth of 11.6% up from 8.5% on 2016. The main driver of this revenue growth was the  acquisitions the firm had made which Ian Mattioli, CEO of Mattioli Woods, said remained a central part of the firm's growth strategy. The firm said the acquisition of MC Trustees in September last year added further scale, while the £3.3m acquisition of Amati Global Investors in February brought "a new dimension" to the business.
