Marlborough appoints third co-manager to Extra Income fund

Moffat has 30 years' investment experience

Marlborough Fund Managers has hired Andrew Moffat as co-manager of the firm's Extra Income fund joining Matthew Rainbird and Nigel Beidas, who have managed the fund for over eight years.

Moffat's appointment follows the fund's move to the IA Mixed Investment 40-85% Shares sector from the IA UK Equity & Bond Income sector, in May. He has nearly 30 years' investment experience having managed the Royal London UK Growth Trust between 2011 and 2016 and the CIS UK Income With Growth Trust before that. Ex-IA CEO Sears joins Marlborough board Last year, he joined Hargreave Hale, which acts as an investment adviser for the fund.
