Franklin Templeton Investments has added its fifth smart-beta ETF to the LibertyShares Smart Beta UCITS ETF range.
Launched on 19 October, the Franklin LibertyQ Emerging Market UCITS ETF will be listed on the London Stock Exchange and will be denominated in sterling, as well as its respective base fund currency. Tracking the LibertyQ Emerging Markets index, the fund is constructed using four factors: quality, value, momentum and low volatility. The factors are employed in order to identify investment trends while avoiding value traps, such as using low vol as a defensive measure against market downturns.
