BlackRock expands factor-based range with total advantage fund

BlackRock has launched a Factor Based Strategies Group (FBSG) fund range with the launch of the BSF Total Advantage fund, which will employ factor based asset allocation across macro and style factors.

Launched on 11 December, the fund is managed by Ked Hogan, head of investments at FBSG and Philip Hodges, deputy head of investments at FBSG. Luxembourg-domiciled, the fund will employ factor based asset allocation across macro and style factors with a tactical overlay in order to ensure a more consistent return stream than a traditional balanced fund. The 'D' share class will have a management fee of 0.55% and an ongoing charges figure (OCF) of 0.85%. The fund is available for sale in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, ...
