Columbia Threadneedle expands absolute return credit range with Luxembourg launch

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has unveiled a Luxembourg-domiciled absolute return fixed income strategy, the Global Investment Grade Credit Opportunities fund.

Managed by investment grade credit head, EMEA, Alasdair Ross and senior portfolio manager Ryan Staszewski, the fund will mirror the investment approach of Barry Whitman's €2.1bn Threadneedle Credit Opportunities fund, which was soft-closed in 2016. It will aim to deliver positive cash-plus returns through the market cycle investing across the global investment grade market spectrum.
