Loomis Sayles has appointed Kathleen Bochman to director of environmental, social and governance (ESG).
Bochman will be responsible for increasing awareness of ESG principles across the firm's investment team while also identifying how ESG can be further incorporated into the teams' investment processes. She will head up the firm's existing ESG committee which provides strategic support to investment teams and conducts internal education. Bochman will act as a "thought leader" for the firm on sustainability issues while helping investment teams engage with companies they invest in.
