DFM appoints Bonham Carter as non-exec director

Discretionary wealth manager Netwealth Investments has appointed Jupiter Fund Management's Edward Bonham Carter as non-executive director.

Bonham Carter will sit on the board alongside MoneyWeek editor-in-chief Merryn Somerset Webb, who has also recently been appointed, and Michael Hartweg, the co-founder of Leonteq as non-executive directors. Netwealth co-founders Charlotte Ransom, CEO, and Thomas Salter, COO, are also on the board. Bonham Carter has spent 23 years at Jupiter where he is currently vice chairman. He also served as the firm's CEO for seven years between 2007 and 2014 and CIO between 1999 and 2010. Somerset Webb is editor-in-chief of MoneyWeek, a title she has been on since it launched in 2000.
