Columbia Threadneedle Investments has re-hired Roman Gaiser as head of portfolio management, high yield, EMEA.

Based in London, Gaiser (pictured) will report to Barrie Whitman, head of high yield, EMEA, and will manage a number of European high yield portfolios, including the £646m Threadneedle European High Yield Bond fund. Gaiser previously worked at Pictet Asset Management, where he was head of high yield for six years before leaving in September last year. Prior to this, he was at Threadneedle Asset Management as a portfolio manager in the European high yield team for six years. He was a portfolio manager at F&C before this.
