Franklin Templeton launches two active fixed income ETFs

Franklin Templeton Investments is set to expand its LibertyShares ETF range with the launch of two active fixed income products.

The ETFs will list on the London Stock Exchange on 27 June and have a focus on income generation. The Franklin Liberty Euro Short Maturity UCITS ETF will be managed by David Zahn, head of European fixed income, and portfolio manager Rod Macphee. It has a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.30%. It will employ a flexible approach, investing in the euro-denominated short-term fixed income market and will have a duration between -2 and 2 years, in order to protect against the rising rate environment. The ETF has the ability to invest in up to 20% in high yield corporate bonds and up to 30%...
