Alex Brotherston, head of UK retail sales at Franklin Templeton, is to leave the asset manager after seven years, effective 31 August.
Mark Dunn, retail business development head at Franklin Templeton, will lead the UK retail sales team while Mark Elliott, head of advisory and strategic alliances, will focus on UK strategic partnerships. They will both report to Franklin Templeton's UK country head Martyn Gilbey, who joined in May 2017 from Aberdeen Asset Management. The move follows the merger of the firm's UK advisory and discretionary sales teams on 1 April.
