STOXX CEO Andreetto to leave after four years

Matteo Andreetto, CEO of index provider STOXX and head of Deutsche Borse Index Services, is set to depart after four years with the firm.

Andreetto (pictured) will hand over his responsibilities on 1 September with STOXX's chief operating officer Steffen Hermanns taking over as interim CEO and Holger Wohlenberg becoming interim head of Deutsche Borse's Index Services. It has not been revealed which firm Andreetto will join next, but the group said he will be moving to an asset manager as head of a business, EMEA. He joined STOXX in 2014 as global head of sales and asset owners coverage before being appointed CEO in 2016.
