Mirabaud Asset Management has appointed Hamid Amoura as head of environmental, social and governance (ESG) from insurer BNP Paribas Cardif.
He joins the group to further enhance its commitment to ESG and help ensure the asset manager continues to integrate ESG principles into its investment processes. Amoura started his career at BNP Paribas Cardif in 2007 and has held a variety of ESG investment-related roles. Since 2011, he was an equity portfolio manager and coordinator for ESG implementation across the firm's internal range of funds. Amoura will report to Umberto Boccato, head of investments at Mirabaud AM, while David Jeannet, the SRI officer at Mirabaud Group, will move across to join Amoura's team. MSCI: How ...
