Vanguard to open office in Ireland next year

Vanguard is set to open an office in Ireland in Q1 next year in an effort to meet its growing oversight and administration responsibilities with regards to Ireland-domiciled assets.

The world's second largest asset manager has received approval from the Central Bank of Ireland regarding a UCITS license. Vanguard has around $115bn assets under management (AUM) domiciled in Ireland across its UCITS fund range.
