Axiom launches credit fund for new hire

French asset manager Axiom Alternatives Investments has launched a credit fund for new hire Laurent Henrio, who joined the firm last September.

The Axiom Credit Opportunity fund is a market neutral credit derivatives strategy, targeting annual returns of 12%. The fund will capture returns through two principal sources; the structural price anomalies within the credit derivatives market and the opportunities created by the ongoing regulation that forces banks to reduce their risk and improve their return on equity.
