SSGA to launch MSCI World ETF

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is set to expand its global equity range with the launch of the SPDR MSCI World UCITS ETF (SPPW).

Physically replicated, SPPW will list on the London Stock Exchange on 4 March with a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.12%. Tracking the MSCI World index, the ETF offers investors exposure to 1,600 stocks across 23 economies, representing around 85% of the float-adjusted market cap of developed equity markets. The firm already offers a number of global equity ETFs including the SPDR MSCI ACWI UCITS ETF (SPYY), the SPDR MSCI Emerging Markets UCITS ETF (SPYM) and the SPDR MSCI World Small Cap UCITS ETF (ZPRS).
