Following the Financial Times's expose of the seedy goings-on at the all-male Presidents Club charity dinner, members of our industry have been rightly concerned about another reputational blow for their sector.
The Club's members work in a number of areas, but the society is clearly associated with the public's worst perceptions of the City as an old boys' club. Bev Shah, City Hive CEO, warned the fallout from the Presidents Club Dinner "has deeply damaged [the asset management] industry".
