Former Quilter directors Dominic Rose and Nigel Speirs are to launch a major wealth management business with backing from growth capital specialists Cabot Square Capital.
The pair have initially acquired MKC Wealth, a London-based boutique firm of independent financial advisors, and plan to expand through the acquisition of other firms, as well as through organic growth. They added that they are already close to completing a further takeover. Rose, previously strategy and acquisitions director for Quilter Private Client Advisers, will become CEO and Speirs, formerly managing director, will become executive chair.
