Only eight of 108 asset managers earned a Morningstar ESG commitment level of ‘leader’, a new report from the data provider has revealed.

The eight asset managers to earn a leader label were Affirmative Investment Management, Australian Ethical, Boston Trust Walden, Domini, Impax, Parnassus, Robeco and Stewart Investors. Article 9 funds receive lowest inflows on record as Article 8 products face outflows Morningstar noted that most of these began as responsible investment firms, but have not "rested on their laurels".
