London Stock Exchange promotes Charlie Walker to deputy CEO

Charlie Walker, head of equity and fixed income primary markets at London Stock Exchange Group, has been promoted to deputy CEO of the London Stock Exchange.

Walker joined LSEG in 2018, having previously worked as an executive director at JP Morgan Cazenove covering equity transactions. In his new role, Walker will also join LSE's board, subject to regulatory approval, and continue to report to Julia Hoggett, CEO of LSE. Walker will now support the daily running of the exchange while continuing to oversee LSEG's primary markets business.
