The Financial Conduct Authority’s Mark Manning, who has helped spearhead the regulator’s approach on ESG, is set to depart at the end of this year.
Manning joined the regulator as a manager of primary markets policy in 2018, before moving to a technical specialist roles in sustainable finance and stewardship in 2019. He assumed his current position, strategic policy advisor on sustainable finance, at the start of this year. In a LinkedIn post, he said he would be launching a consultancy called New Paradigm Advisory, which aims to help "regulators, policymakers, standard-setters, NGOs and academics deliver the fundamental transformation of business and finance that we urgently need to secure a sustainable future".
