The ThomasLloyd Energy Impact trust has changed its name to the Asian Energy Impact trust, following the ousting of its investment manager.
The change became effective on 27 October and the trust has become identifiable under the new name on the London Stock Exchange from 8am today (31 October). Last month, the trust said it would be ending its investment management relationship with ThomasLloyd Global Asset Management, three years earlier than scheduled. The move followed ThomasLloyd GAM's unsuccessful vote to oust the board of the trust, following allegations that the board was misled by the manager.
