Nomura Asset Management has hired Kapish Patel as a co-portfolio manager on its Corporate Hybrid Bond fund, which launched in August.
Patel joins from Neuberger Berman, where he has worked since 2016 and served as an associate portfolio manager on the investment grade credit team, with a specific focus on non-US dollar corporate bonds. Prior to that, he worked as an investment manager at Killik & Co, and as an analyst at Third Financial. Patel will be based in London and will report to his former Neuberger Berman colleague Julian Marks, head of corporate hybrid bonds and co-manager of the fund.
