Investec has agreed to sell Rensburg Fund Management Limited to Franklin Templeton for £45m.

Franklin Templeton has confirmed the Turkish regulator is investigating market manipulation claims against emerging markets guru Mark Mobius.

Mark Mobius, the world's most recognisable emerging markets manager, is being investigated in Turkey over possible market manipulation following requests from investors in the country.

Mark Mobius is pouring a further $250m into Turkish equities across Templeton's EM portfolios in anticipation of strong economic growth in the coming year.

Emerging markets guru Mark Mobius says it is "critical" to monitor the supply and demand for EM stocks with the number of IPOs set to double in the coming year.

Templeton's Mark Mobius says it is "quite possible" Greece could be reclassified as an emerging market and has invested in the country through the group's Emerging Markets Investment Trust.
