UBS Wealth Management is planning to double the number of employees in its Scottish business and open a new office in Edinburgh as a result of strong growth across the region.
Over the next two years, the firm plans to increase the amount of staff to 30 people, having grown from five to 16 employees in recent years. Furthermore, it has signed a 10-year lease on a new office in Edinburgh, which Jonathan Brown, head of regions at UBS Wealth, said would become the "flagship" office for the firm's business outside of London.
